I am winding down the initial phase of my book being published, which I refer to as the “launch phase.” I’m grateful for the attention I have received, the events I have had, and all the kind and positive feedback I have received. My hope is that all these things will lead to opportunities for me to promote my book.
I have been lucky to have already been the guest author at two book clubs and have a few more in the coming weeks. My friend, Gabriele, who I know from my years in D.C. (1986-1990), hosted a book club for me during the same time I was in D.C. for another event. She just posted the message below on my “swimming in the daylight” Facebook page. I have included it here not to toot my own horn, but rather as a reference and invitation for anyone interested in selecting my book for their book club. Please contact me via the “Contact & Book Club” tab on the home page of this website. I can participate by phone or via skype if your book club is not in the Milwaukee area. Here’s what Gabriele had to say:
We held our book club in VA so we could have Lisa speak in person with our group and lead our discussion. I can honestly say it was the best book club meeting I have attended, and everyone loved the book as well as the author. What an honor to have her with us and explain background details and patiently answer the myriad of questions. Thank you Lisa. Everyone else who has not done so, please read her book…it will take you on quite a journey…and you don’t have to leave your armchair.
